This acquisition contributes to Scale Bank\u2019s growth in the factoring market, which it serves through its Scale Funding division.<\/p>\n<p>Provident was founded in 2015 by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/talleyclower\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Talley Clower<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jason-langston-69736590\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Jason Langston<\/a>, who built a factoring business that has served over 900 customers. Provident\u2019s current customer base, along with the Provident team, are part of the acquisition. Many of Provident\u2019s staff are native Spanish speakers, which removes language barriers and provides next-level service. Provident\u2019s focus includes providing factoring services to small-fleet trucking companies, which complements Scale Funding\u2019s customer mix in the transportation sector.
